​Deposit Anywhere™

​Our Deposit Anywhere feature lets you quickly and securely deposit cheques using your smartphone or tablet.

How it works:

Simply open the app, tap “deposit”, select your account, enter the amount, and take a picture of the front and back of your cheque. Confirm the details and submit. That’s it. The funds immediately appear in your account. Normal hold periods still apply. 

​Online Banking

​Our online banking gives you the freedom to bank whenever and wherever you choose — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Features include:

  • Viewing account information and receiving updated balances
  • Paying bills and setting up future-dated bill payments
  • Adding or removing bills — hundreds of vendors available
  • Transferring funds between accounts; within a membership or to another member's account
  • Downloading statement information to 3rd party software such as Intuit's Quicken, Money or Quickbooks
  • Downloading e-Statements
  • Transferring money into an RRSP or TFSA Savings account*

Set up alerts for added security!
Our Alerts feature sends you notifications about activity on your accounts or in online banking. These include:  

  • Attempts to change your PAC
  • New payees added
  • Insufficient funds in accounts (Note: this alert is only available if you have overdraft protection (SAOD)
  • Withdrawals over a specified amount
  • Deposits over a specified amount

Alert Account Nicknames
Members are required to give their accounts short nicknames, which are used to identify their accounts in alerts messages. The use of nicknames prevents the transmission of information that can be used to identify individuals or accounts. 

​ATM Network

​Our ATM network gives you access to thousands of ATMs across Canada – surcharge free. Simply look for THE EXCHANGE® logo.

​Features include: 

  • Depositing cheques and cash
  • Withdrawing cash
  • Checking your balance
  • Paying bills
  • Printing a mini statement
  • Transferring funds between accounts linked to your debit card 

US access
When you’re traveling within the USA, THE EXCHANGE Network is still available to you. Just look for the logo. The majority of EXCHANGE ATMs in the USA are also surcharge free, but you may find that some states will have a nominal charge.

​Debit Card

​Our MEMBER CARD® Debit Card allows immediate, easy access to your accounts via ATM or at point-of-sale terminals. It includes contactless Interac Flash technology.

Features include: 

  • Purchasing directly from your StellerVista accounts
  • Making a deposit using any of the deposit-taking Canadian ATMs on THE EXCHANGE network
  • Canada-wide acceptance through ACCULINK®, Interac®, and THE EXCHANGE networks
  • U.S. and international use at ATMs and merchants displaying the CIRRUS® or THE EXCHANGE symbols 

Note: Transaction fees may apply based on your account 

How to pay using Interac Flash
At any terminal that accepts Interac Flash, simply follow these steps:

  1. Hold your card no more than 4 cm in front of the terminal
  2. A beep and/or approved message will indicate your transaction is done
  3. The purchase amount will be deducted automatically from your everyday bank account 

Note: For security purposes, we’ve set spending limits for your Interac Flash transactions:

  • A single transaction can’t exceed $250
  • There is a $400 cumulative daily spending limit

When you reach one of these limits, you’ll be prompted to insert your debit card and enter your PIN. This is an added layer of protection that confirms you are the legitimate cardholder. Insert your card, enter your PIN, and your Interac Flash limits are reset.
